The Pottery is a converted cottage, situated a mile outside Penzance. It is a one bedroom place with large and bright living room. The sizable covered BBQ area allows for outdoor living even when the clouds are in.


Change-over day is Saturday. The place sleeps two, and is set in mature gardens. Penzance is either 5 min drive or 40 min slow walk and offers a mirriad of coffee shops, restaurants, small  independent galaries, the three main supermarkets have superstores, and the centre of town has a selection of independents, from butchers, bakeries, greengrocers, delicatessens.

Nearest facilities 

The nearest pub is 5 min drive, in Newlyn, or 20 min walk. The nearest beach is 5 min drive, shingles, or 10 min drive will take you into the wide, golden sandy beach between Penzance and Marazion. 

Local information

Within 10 miles of the Pottery, one can find numerous sandy beaches, places to surf, or learn to surf, a list of renown gardens to visit, fishing oportunities, both sea and fresh water available. Or for the guest that stays longer, a day trip to the Scillies  may present the chance to see what is still one of the best designed gardens in the UK.
